LOCATION

The property is situated on a no-through-road in a residential area of central Pézenas.

Pézenas is one of the most sought-after Languedoc towns between Montpellier and Carcassonne, 20 minutes from the Mediterranean coast.

2 minutes walk to the centre of Pézenas.

Pézenas prides itself on its past; reflected in its fascinating winding streets and period architecture. Often called the ‘Versailles’ of the Languedoc, summer visitors are treated to a feast of festivals, costume dramas, concerts and exhibitions.

Alternatively, take your pick from the numerous pavement cafés and watch the world drift slowly by before retiring to any one of the dozens of excellent, traditional restaurants. 4 supermarkets to choose from.

Don’t miss the famous Saturday market that spills into the streets from daybreak and lasts all day. Discover the many artisan shops in the old quarter and the kilometer-long stretch of antique and bric-a-brac (brocante) stores.

Sunny, sandy Mediterranean beaches lie just 12 miles South of Pézenas. Beachfront cafés, seafood restaurants and all the glamour and glitz of summer in the South of France.

The Gorges d’Héric in the Languedoc National Park offers astounding scenery that will make you forget you are so close to the Mediterranean coast. Head East and don’t miss the Pont du Gard on a day trip to Provence; Avignon, Arles and the pink flamingos and white horses in the Camargue. Head West to experience the giant and imposing fortified city of Carcassonne. Alternatively, the beautiful Côte Vermeille and its charming beaches in the shadow of the Pyrénées.
